Recipe: Cucumber Sandwiches

We made these for Tea on Tuesday this past week. I wanted to include the recipe.
Cucumber Sandwiches
8 oz. Cream Cheese – Softened
½ cup Mayonnaise
1 to 1 ½ cucumber, seeded, shredded (Peeling is optional)
salt – optional
pepper to taste

For our tea time yesterday, I found a recipe in my binder that I used a few years back for cucumber sandwiches. The kids liked them then, and I thought it would be out of the ‘norm’. So, I made them. They came out yummy!!

Teepee Craft

About a week or so ago, MaryEllen made this cute teepee all by herself. She was hard at work drawing, coloring and cutting. I noticed her hard at work at something, but did not know what. When she presented her finished product to me, I was very impressed.

Tuesday Tea::Rice Crispy Treats

Today, we made rice crispy treats to go with our Tuesday Tea. The kids did most of the work while I supervised. I did stir in the rice crispies because they were too interested in tasting the melted marshmallows. I gave them each a small spoon dipped into the melted marshmallows, so while they tasted, I stirred in the rice crispy cereal.

A Look at My Desk!

Well, with our move and with us still being upacked, I have taken over the laundry room as my ‘office’. I needed a spot to keep everything organized. Our study items would get put here and there, and I was spending unnecessary time looking for our books.
