The Wonderful Art of Drawing Horses

My daughter, who is soon to be 10, has been drawing horses since I can remember. It is fun to see how far she has come. For Christmas, I decided to get her this art course by Barry Stebbing, The Wonderful Art of Drawing Horses, that way she can continue to improve and expand her learning into areas of shading, and more realistic techniques. She was excited to get this, and has already begun.

Eagle Lapbook

My daughter spent yesterday making this Eagle Lapbook. We had a book on Eagles and she decided she wanted to create a lapbook. I also let her read on Wikpedia about Eagles too. She printed up some mini books I had made and then drew pictures and filled them in. I was so proud.

Teepee Craft

About a week or so ago, MaryEllen made this cute teepee all by herself. She was hard at work drawing, coloring and cutting. I noticed her hard at work at something, but did not know what. When she presented her finished product to me, I was very impressed.
